Kidneys for Sale Growing in Cebu While having my vacation, I had come to cross a local newspaper placed in a transparent plastic bag hanged at the doorknob neighboring next to me at Plantation Bay Cebu City, (I remembered the article I wrote about "Kidney for a Laptop") this one caught my attention: More...Health officials are alarmed by the possibility that “ kidneys for sale “ may have already gained a foothold in Cebu after it became rampant in Metro Manila years ago. Susan Madarieta, regional director of the Department of Health, said in a forum of the Philippine Information Agency that the concern has become so serious that a DOH monitoring team was actually dispatched to Cebu to assess the situation.
